The July 2016 Issue of IACM Expressions is available now which contains an article I authored with JS Chen on modeling extreme events. I have also previously a co-authored on an article on Galerkin Orthogonality and Quadrature in meshfree methods.

This week I will give two invited talks on "Computational Frameworks for Damage Assessment of Structures Subject to Extreme Loadings" at at Sandia National Laboratories and the University of New Mexico.
I have just accepted the invitation to help to organize the Thematic Session 4. "Quadrature and Stability Issues in IGA and Meshfree Methods" for the IGA-Meshfree 2016 USACM Thematic Conference.
